It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carter Langston of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Wesley Langston and Edythe Whittle Langston Martin; and his wife Cynthia Hyatt Langston. He is survived by: his children, R. Carter Langston Jr. (Cheryl) of McLean, Joseph Wesley Langston II (Fiorella) of Rock Hill, Paul Hyatt Langston of Rock Hill and Elizabeth Williams (Terry) of Greensboro, N. C.; his grandchildren, Robert Carter Langston, III of McLean, Jake Ross Williams of Greensboro, N. C., Joseph Alejo Langston of Rock Hill and Sydney Elizabeth Langston of McLean; his great grandchild Willow Kirk of Round Hill; and his sister Marian Langston Shaw (Gifford) of Sumter, S. C..
