He was predeceased by: his wife Caron Hamilton Wilburn; his parents, Guy Wilburn and Ruby Wilburn; and his siblings, Ronnie Wilburn, Kathy Miller and Pam Watts.

He is survived by: his children, Travis Wilburn (Jacque), Sherry Williams and Rhonda Hypio (Butch); his stepsons, Jamie Hamilton (Crystal) and David Hamilton (Kelly); and his sister Gayle Thomas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
