It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Vernon Harmon (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Mount Carmel, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robert Harmon and Grace Denny Harmon. He is survived by: his spouse Merrilyn Zielinski Harmon; his son Jeff Harmon of Mount Dora, FL; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Harmon (Stacy) of Leesburg, FL and Lauren Harmon Ruiz (Ceaz) of Woodstock, GA; and his niece Sonja Smith Gebhart (Mark) of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Harmon's name to Lakewood Baptist Church 3520 Mt. Gallant Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
