He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Threatt and Edith Hartsell Threatt; and his sisters, Ruth Ann T. Norton, Jane T. Workman and Norma T. Currence.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Williford Threatt; his sons, Richard L. Threatt, Jr. (Amy) and Mark S. Threatt (Keri); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Abigail, Anna Grace and Emma.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grandview Memorial Park (620 S Cherry Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
