He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Gaffney and Elsie Elkins; and his grandson Lil Richard Gaffney. He is survived by: his wife Bea Gaffney; his children, Jamie Lee Gaffney (Trish) and Valentina Mashell Gaffney (Tina); his siblings, Ed Gaffney (Brenda), Butch Gaffney (Debby) and Sue Jackson; and his grandchildren, Lacey Whelchel, Samantha Lockhart, Brian Lockhart, Valerie Gaffney, Dayna Gaffney and Hunter Gaffney. He is also survived by 1 Paw Paw who loved his family, children and grandchildren.
