He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion A. Holman and Addie Gertrude Holman; and his wife Mary Gordon Miller of Adairville. He is survived by: his son Joseph R. Holman, MD (Amy Holman); his grandchildren, Erin Holman Pieper, Julie Holman McCarter and Joseph Collings Holman; and his grandchildren-in-law, Natalie Holman, Eric Pieper and Matthew McCarter. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
