He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh McGuirt and Fannie Lillian Tinkler McGuirt; and his siblings, Buck McGuirt, Pete McGuirt, Jake McGuirt, Frances Nunn, Faye Cooper, Martha Lucas, Lucille Turner, Mildred Timmons and Rachel Sweatt.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Ross McGuirt; his children, Scott McGuirt (Anne) of Rock Hill, SC and Tracy M Butler (Troy) of Rock Hill, SC; his brother Roger McGuirt of Rock Hill, SC; his granddaughters, Erica Johnson (Justin), Morgan Brugh (Heath), Emily McGuirt and Lauren McGuirt; and his great grandchildren, Crew Johnson, Tate Johnson and Holland Brugh.
