She was predeceased by: her parents, Thurman Franklin Benge and Oleta Plyler Benge; her former husband James Franklin Brown; and her husband Boyce Benge. She is survived by: her sister Janet Benge Turner of Kernersville, NC; her daughter Chris Anna Brown Lowe (Smith); her granddaughters, Sabrina Carlysle Robertson (Matt) of Smiths Station, AL, Moriah Carlysle Moore (Alan) of Tarpon Springs, FL, Tammy Smith Fessler (Daniel) of Powder Springs, GA and Tracy Smith Dorics (Trever) of St. Augustine, FL; and her great grandchildren, Caleb, Dylan (Fessler), Angelica and Lysla (Robertson).
