He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stathopoulos and Alexandra Stathopoulos; his wife Myrtle Plyler; and his sisters, Christine Karvelas and Petsa Stathopoulos.
He is survived by: his daughter Sylvia Elizabeth Stathopoulos; his nieces and nephews, Alexandra Huggins (George), Aphrodite Konduros (Samuel) and John Karvelas (Donna); his grandchildren, Larry C. Plyler (Sharon), David G. Plyler (Carla) and Lisa B. Morales (Charlie); and his pets, Boston, Bebe and Pete. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
