He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Turner and Malcena Turner; his wife Clara Turner; his siblings, Eugene Turner and Judith Farmer; and his daughter Clara Lynn Simpson.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Turner Jr. (Dawnn) of Columbia, Tammy Blake (Brian) of Leesville, Cindi Adams (Mike) of Rock Hill and Lisa Mills (Becky) of Rock Hill.
