She is survived by: her children, Pam Smathers Bame of Fort Mill, SC, Theresa Smathers Hurst (Doug) of York, SC, David Earl Smathers II (Tania) of York, SC and Geddie Harold Smathers (Tracy) of Emerald Isle, NC.; her granddaughters, Sara Joines (Michael), Amanda Davis (Jacob), Alexandra Smathers (Jolene), Audrey Smathers and Christina Stoner (Charles); her great grandchildren, Corey, Finnegan and Charlie; and also, Joseph Jinks (Danielle), Austin, Alexis and Aubrey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
