We are sad to announce that on July 8, 2024, at the age of 87, Patricia Laney Hughes of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Monroe, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Laney and Charlene Aycoth Laney; her husband James A. Hughes, Sr.; and her siblings, Bud Laney (Dennis Laney), Edith Smith and Betty Akers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lynn Chase (Terry) of Rock Hill and Charlotte Eaker (Bill) of Clover, SC; her siblings, Roger Laney (Charmaine), Wayne Laney, Richard Laney, Larry Laney and Judy Templeton (Donald); and her sister-in-law Audrey Laney.
