Oscar Henry Covington Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oscar Henry Covington Jr. (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on January 9, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Elizabeth "Lib" Carothers Covington and Oscar H. Covington, Sr.; his sister Iris; and his brother-in-law Bob Coleman. He is survived by: his wife Lula Jackson Covington; his daughters, Debbie Mitchell (Eddie), Teresa Stricker (Robert) and Mary Miskelly (Buck); and his sisters, Virginia Moss (Haskell) and Ellen Chio (Floyd). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
