It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oneita Tomlin Peura (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Reagan, Tennessee, who passed away on April 3, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel David Tomlin and Johnnie Edith Shepard Tomlin; her husbands, John Hanna and James Peura; her daughter Patricia Smedley-Lotts; and her siblings, Ophelia Tomlin Fleming, Dennis and Bill Tomlin.
She is survived by: her son Michael Anderson (Kimberly) of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Christopher Anderson of Chapel Hill, NC and Elizabeth Duncklee (Ross) of Waxhaw, NC; her great grandchildren, Luke, Brooke and Ryan Duncklee; and her brothers, Tom Tomlin and Sam Tomlin.
