It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nestor Andrij Scherbey of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl Scherbey and Iryna Scherbey. He is survived by: his wife Lydia; his children, Valentyna DeCristo (Patrick) and Roman Scherbey; his granddaughters, Alexandra DeCristo and Victoria DeCristo; and his sisters, Chrystyna Nykorak and Dzvinka Hayda. He is also survived by numerous family members, including siblings-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
