It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nell Eite (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in York, South Carolina, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis F. Carroll and Myrtle Corneilius Carroll; her husband John Oliver Eite; her son Hollen Lewis Hoffman; her siblings, Ray, Neal Carroll and Jean C. Lesslie; and her grandchildren, Jason Lynn and Jessica Lynn.
She is survived by: her children, Neal Hoffman (Norma) of Rock Hill, Johnny Eite (Ranny) of York, Jane Hoffman Dugan, Kaye Hoffman Marshall (Ken) of Rock Hill, Christine Johnson of York, SC and Mary Hunter of Cheyenne, WY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nell Eite's name to Woodland United Methodist Church, 801 N. Cherry Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732.
