It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Fennell Phillips in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on February 18, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Geneva Simmons Phillips; and his parents, John Albert Phillips and Ellen Rosaland Baker Phillips. He is survived by: his son Max A Phillips (Pansy) of Rock Hill; his grandson Rusty Phillips (Bobbi) of Chapin, SC; his great grandchildren, Taylor Phillips, Austen Campbell (Jamie) and Chandler Phillips; and his great great grandchildren, JP and Elsie Kate Campbell.
The family requests that memorials be made to Park Baptist Church 717 East Main St. Rock Hill, SC 29730.
