He was predeceased by: his parents, James I Scarborough and Garnet Richmond Scarborough; and his sibling Dr. J. I. Scarborough. He is survived by: his siblings, Carnes Scarborough Barrett, David Kent Scarborough, Judy Scarborough Kozar and Nancy Sue DeAndre (Mark); his wife Carol Bishop Scarborough; his son Kenneth Mark Scarborough; his grandchildren, Korey Ward (Stephanie), Jordan Mark Kustas, Hailey Wise, Alex Hogan (Anna) and Zachery Hogan (Selena); his great grandchild Isabella; and his stepchildren, James Clayton Elrod (Melanie) and Katie Elrod Whitfield (Robbie).
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the NewKirk Baptist Church (175 Museum Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732). A memorial service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Mark's name to the NewKirk Baptist Church Missions Fund, 175 Museum Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
