It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Gilfillan Hilton of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Gaffney, South Carolina, who passed away on September 6, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estelle Marian Elliot and John Clem Gilfillan; her husband Lewis James Hilton; and her daughter Samantha Ann Hovencamp. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Margaret, Elisha Mark Jessurun and Jasmine Ann Jessurun of Rock Hill; her great grandchild Noah Eli Jessurun of Rock Hill; her siblings, Marian "Katie" Upchurch of Rock Hill and Jimmy Gilfillan of Gaffney; and her nieces, Sheila Shoemake and Doris Jean Davis. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made out to Ignite Church, 1105 Eden Terrace, Rock Hill, SC, 29730 as this is what Mrs. Hilton would have desired.
