She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett W. Harless, Sr. and Ida Harris Harless; her husband JP "Pete" Giles; her daughter Deborah Kay Giles; and her siblings, Peggy Nichols, Beulah Glenn, Zella Poag and Everette Harless, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Tim Giles (Heather), Brian Giles (Tish), Terri Williams, Linda Parker (Lamar) and Rebecca Roberts; and her brother Jack Harless. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
