It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Sanders Thompson (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on May 30, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Henderson Sanders, Sr. and Vera Blue Sanders; her husband Bobby Gene Thompson, Sr.; her sons, Bobby Gene Thompson, Jr. and Scotty Thompson, Sr.; and her sisters, Marie Simmers, Ada Sanders and Brenda Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy T. Canty (Wallace) of Rock Hill and Patricia T. Merritt (James) of Lancaster; her brother Clyde Thompson of Rock Hill; her grandchildren, Lee Canty, Travis Canty (Sarah), Adrienne MacLeod (John), Matthew Merritt, Jesse Merritt, Jessica Thompson, Stephanie Thompson, LaTasha Thompson, Scotty Thompson, Jr. and Rose Thompson; and her siblings, Leona Watts of Rock Hill, Laura Varnadore of Rock Hill, Ann Morris (Laverne) of Rock Hill, Marilyn Sanders of Rock Hill, Juanita Campbell of Rock Hill, Albert H. Sanders, Jr. of Greenville and Randall Sanders of Rock Hill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses.
