He is survived by: his wife Thelma Jeanette Laffitte; his children, Bobby Laffitte, Laura Shockley and Leah Soffera; his siblings, Ronnie Laffitte, Alice Gay Carpenter and Garnet McKeown; and his stepsons, Steven Martinez, David Martinez, John LaMarr, Jr. and Justin LaMarr. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
