With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lindsay Matthews (Rock Hill, South Carolina), who passed away on May 9, 2022 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent J. Lindsay Matthews; his grandparents, J. O., Estelle Matthews and Joe Childers; and his uncle Jerry Childers.
He is survived by: his parent Dell Childers Matthews; his wife Shanna Faye Chappell Matthews; his son James L. Matthews, III; his sister Deborah M. Broome (Frankie); and his grandmother Thelma C. Childers. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
