She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dennis and Helen Dennis; her husband William F. Hilton; and her sisters, Doris Davis and Martha Barnes.

She is survived by: her sons, David Dennis (Donna), Larry Harrington (Mary) and William F. Hilton II (Meg); her grandchildren, Brooke Barnes (Jeremy), Morgan Williams (Davie) and Rebecca Hilton; and her siblings, Jerry Dennis, Judy Kay Fraley, Lois Roland (Jerry), Veronica Ingram and Tammy Dennis.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home (700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
