She was predeceased by: her parents, Clough Thompson and Manurva Gaston Thompson; her son Eddie L. Brown, Jr.; her husband Eddie Brown, Sr.; and her siblings, Clough Thompson, Jr., Robert Thompson (RD), Claude Thompson, Elvira Thompson, Walter Thompson, Ned Thompson, Janie Thompson, Floyd Robbins (Ike), Kelly Robbins, Dorenda Pendergrass McCoy, Martha Jeter, Maybell Pendergrass, Lena Sanders, William Thompson, Anna Cornwell, Altonia McCluney, Mardine Pendergrass and Frances Jeter.
She is survived by: her daughter Evelyn Brown; her granddaughter Tomeka Brown of Washington; her godchild Arthelia Hampton of Chapel Hill, NC; her friend Barbara Ford of Brooklyn, NY; and her caregiver Alexis Hamilton-Prince of Brooklyn, NY.. She is also survived by many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
