With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kevin Eugene Poplin of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Bakersfield, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 61. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Poplin and Delores Poplin of Alabama. He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his daughters, Nikki Barfield (Brian), Kimmi Poplin (Brandon) and Tiffiani Poplin (Bryce); his siblings, Rick Poplin (Ylonda), Jeff Poplin and Sheryl Jones (Fiso); and his grandchildren, Cayden Barfield, Kenleigh Barfield, Braxton Poplin and Aria Poplin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Glenrock Baptist Church (1815 N Dobys Bridge Rd, Fort Mill, SC 29715). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
