She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Kaneer and Myrtle Abernathy Kaneer; her husband Larry L. Gregg; her son Mark Allen Gregg of Greenville, NC; and her brother Robert Kaneer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Slate (Dennis) of Walnut Cove, NC, Jennifer Gregg and Catherine Vallyathan (Sanjay) of Fort Mill, SC; her daughter-in-law Rebecca Gregg of Richmond, VA; and her grandchildren, Colton, Juliana Gregg and Jenson Vallyathan. She is also survived by Her children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLean Funeral Directors of Gastonia (700 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054). A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hollywood Cemetery (540 N Broad St, Gastonia, NC 28054).
