She was predeceased by: her parents, Hamp Lowery and Lila Broome Lowery; and her brother Max Lowery. She is survived by: her husband Robert Barnett; her daughter Darlene Fox Smith (Chris) of Chester, SC; her sister Shirley Lucas; and her grandchildren, Danielle Smith Wood (Dustin) and Amary Smith Doehling (Michael). She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
