Joy Marie Bower Obituary
The memory of Joy Marie Bower of Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2024 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Michael Hathaway and June Joy Hathaway. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Bower; her children, Debbie Seidel (Rick) of Southington, CT, Jeff Bower (Lauren) of Portsmouth, NH, Matt Bower of Rock Hill and Lauren Bower of Rock Hill; her siblings, Robin Capra, Brian Hathaway (Jackie) and Bill Hathaway (Andrea); and her grandchildren, Kyler Bitondo, Sabina and Liana. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joy's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the York County Humane Society, Agape Hospice, or the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
