She was predeceased by: her husband Henry Thomas Hammond; her parents, Joseph Abner and Mary Etta Coker; her siblings, Loree Wells, Nellie King, Allene Peden, Edna Bush, Virginia Baker, Edith Finley, Belton Coker, Walter Coker and Charles Coker; and her grandson Joseph Richards.
She is survived by: her children, JoAnn McLaughlin (Robert), Nanci Richards (Mark), Debbie Lancaster (David) and Tommy Hammond (Nancy); and her grandchildren, Jason McLaughlin (Allie), Mary McLaughlin, Katy McLaughlin, Brian Richards (Etta), Ian Richards (Heather), Brady Hammond (Alyssa), Daniel Nightingale (Jenny), Ben Hammond (Kayla), Tyler Hammond, Jackson Hammond (Faith), Wes Lancaster (Nikki), Sarah Davis (Elledge), Luke Lancaster (Morgan) and Carrie Lee Lancaster. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
