He is survived by: his wife Clara Post Pent; his sons, Jonathan Pent (Kimberly) of Lexington, SC, Steven Eric Pent (Yolanda) of San Ramon and Joseph Bechtold Pent Jr. (Lori) of Santa Ana; his grandchildren, Helen Jenkins (Brian), Christina Kelly (Drew), Rachel Twiford (Kenneth), Sofia Pent, Rebekah Pent, Lindsey Pent, David Pent (Rachel), Samuel Pent, Ryan Pent (Serena) and Joshua Pent; his brother Benjamin Pent (Virginia) of Michigan; and his great grandchildren, Chiara of Eva, KK, Dawson, Haley, Hannah and Crosby.
