With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Joseph Riles Jr. of Rock Hill, South Carolina, born in Sumter, South Carolina, who passed away on August 31, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Joseph Riles, Sr. and Pearl Wingate Riles; and his siblings, Milburn Riles, Willie Mae Barwick, Evelyn Harris, Mary Barfield and Joyce Ashcraft.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Lynn Oliver (Chris) of Rock Hill and Jennifer Marie Geddings (Nick) of Sumter; his grandchildren, Tyler Riles (Catherine), Khalea Oliver (Jordan), Furman Geddings, Jr. (Amber) and Christopher Geddings; his brother Glenn Riles (Joyce) of Sumter; and his friend Linda Thomas of Sumter. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
