Though John may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, J. P. Bell and Kathleen Bell; and his sister Patsy Hall. He is survived by: his wife Susan Gayle Bell of Rock Hill; his daughter Stephanie Bell; his son-in-law Thomas Bugge of Guemes Island, WA.; his niece Jennifer Noland (Alan) of Southport, NC; and his nephews, Tim Hall (Karen) of Raleigh, NC and Matthew Hall (Ellie) of Durham, NC.
