He was predeceased by: his parents, John Grady Sneed, Sr. and Rachel Blythe Sneed; his son John Grady Sneed, III; and his great grandchild Maverick Sampson. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Justice Sneed; and his daughters, Jennifer Sneed Gavin (Ghi) of Charlotte and Kimlyn Sneed Lambert of Cherokee, NC. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
