He was predeceased by: his parents, Gino Giacobini and Mary Giacobini; and his sister Rosemary Giacobini. He is survived by: his wife Valerie Hendricks-Giacobini; his children, Johnny Giacobini (Angie) and Dawn Giacobini; his stepchildren, Erica Houck, Dennis Hendricks and Andrew Hendricks (Jackie); his grandchildren, Emmy Coleman, Jenna Houck and Ava Houck; his sister Joanne Waldron (Rick); and his nieces and nephews, Dana, Gina and Tony.

“My sincere sympathies at John's passing. I worked with John at Autozone. John trained/ taught me how to protect myself around the mechanics and not work too hard for the store. He made us laugh and scared the heck out of with his driving. He watched out for me and kept in touch when I had to quit to care for my own father who had cancer. He would text and check up on me and we would trade woodworking tips. He was proud of his family and loved you dearly. Peace to you all. Amy Ramesh”
