Joe Ratliff Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2024, at the age of 95, Joe Ratliff of Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joe may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James F. Ratliff and Lena Shoemaker Ratliff; and his wife Retha M. Ratliff. He is survived by: his sons, Darold Ratliff (Karla) and Barry Ratliff (Jan); and his sister Clara Hendrick of Florence, SC. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joe's name to Calvary Baptist Church, 830 North Jones Ave., Rock Hill, SC 29730.
