He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dick Archie and Annie Mae Shaver Archie. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kalasountas Archie; his children, Dean Archie (Suzanne), Johnny Archie (Mary), Michael Archie and Pam Archie; his grandchildren, Dean Archie, Jr., Nicole Hoskinson, Alex Hartness, Mary Kathryn Archie, Mickey Howell, Victoria Archie, Michael Archie and Justin Queen; and his sister Mary Demby.
