He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen Gibson, Sr. and Mary Bell Gibson; and his brother George Ivan Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Jolinda Kristine Wyckoff Gibson; his daughters, Krista Gibson Boyd (Jason) of Snow Camp, NC and Kelley Gibson Garmon (Johnnie) of Rock Hill, SC; his brothers, John Allen Gibson, Jr. (Cinda) of Piqua, OH and Joseph Paul Gibson (Lori) of Piqua, OH; his sister-in-law Shirley Gibson of Grafton, WV; his niece Diane Leadingham of Burlington, NC; and also, Reagan, Caroline, Zoe, Jameson and Jonas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. Gibson's name to Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, 1996 Mt Holly Rd., Rock Hill, SC, 29730 or to Graham United Methodist, 303 N. Main St., Graham, NC 27253.
