He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Gunderson and Howard Gunderson; and his former wife Dianne Matthews Gunderson. He is survived by: his wife Sue Brown Gunderson; his children, Jerome Kyle Gunderson, Jr. (Lainie) of Rock Hill, Ashley Gunderson Wise (Jeffrey) of Charlotte, NC, Watson Matthews Gunderson (Jocelyn) of Conway, SC, Whitney A. Boggs (Wesley) of Columbia, SC and Kayce H. Graupner (Scott) of Lexington, SC; his brothers, Tommy Gunderson (Susan) of Edgemoor, SC and Dickie Gunderson (Katie) of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Taylor Grimes, Kylie Gunderson, Caroline, Jackson, Jacob Wise, Zoe, Watson Gunderson, Avery, Graham, Ann Ballard Boggs, Benjamin and Oliver Graupner; his great grandchild Cory; and his friend Bryant.
