He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus James Brown and Kathleen Gregory Brown; and his brother Johnny Gregory. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynda B. Adams (Jay) of Rock Hill and Kristi K. Brown of York, SC; his brother Robert J. Brown of Rock Hill; his grandchildren, Neily Adams Robinson (Michael), Jay Adams V and Levi Melton; his great grandchild Delainey Rose "Bunches" Rodman; and his sister-in-law Gail Gregory.
