She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kay and Virginia Giles Kay; her sisters, Sammie Kay Brown, Ann Kay Hall and Mary Kay Rawls; and her grandson Dave Thomas Walker.
She is survived by: her husband Richard E Comer; and her daughters, Linda Warner Hinson, Brenda Warner, Roxie Comer and Robyn Comer Hyatt. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
