She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Farnsworth Holmes and Edith Hitchner Holmes; her husband George D. Duncan; her sons, David Duncan and James Duncan; and her grandchildren, Michael Duncan and Jennifer Turner.
She is survived by: her son Richard Duncan; her granddaughters, Christina Duncan, Brandy Wood (Robert) and Janice Duncan; her daughters-in-law, JoyAnn Binsley and Maria Duncan; her brother Donald Holmes (Judy); and her cousin Pam Claire.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Duncan's name to the Alzheimer's Association, 4600 Park Road, Ste 250, Charlotte, NC 28209.
