He is survived by: his son Douglas Russell Patterson of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings, William Theodore Patterson (Angie Patterson) of Charlotte, NC and Marilyn Patricia Patterson (Patti) of Lexington, SC; and his nephew Spencer Riley Patterson of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by other cousins, nephews and family.
