He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Richard Welter and Mary Ellen Ryan; his stepfather William Ryan; and his sister Valerie McCutcheon. He is survived by: his wife Shelley Welter; his daughters, Meghan Welter and Michelle Welter; his grandson Andrew James Trombley; and his siblings, Vanessa Welter and Jay Welter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
ROCK HILL – James R. Welter was called home on March 16, 2022 at the age of 63, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's, surrounded by his loved ones who will continue to honor his legacy.
