He was predeceased by: his father Julian Boyce Fields; his siblings, Joyce Griffin, Michael and Larry Fields; and his granddaughter Caroline Mundy.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Wright Fields; his children, Jamie Bennett (David) of Fort Mill, Susan Mundy (Clarence) of Blythewood, SC, Steve Fields (Kelly) of Greenville, SC and Doug Fields (Christy) of Fort Lawn, SC; and his siblings, Barbara Griffin of Aiken, SC and Don Fields (Faye) of Palmyra, VA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorials to be made Hospice and Community Care at 2275 India Hook Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
