He is survived by: his mother Janie Dixon of Rock Hill, SC; his children, Serretta Dixon, Kimberly Dixon of Fayetteville, NC and James Dixon, Jr. of Fayetteville, NC; and his siblings, Anthony Dixon, Cory Dixon, Vince Dixon and Janie Gwinn. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
