She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Oscar Jordan and Mabel Hutchison Jordan; her grandson Trey; her brothers, Myron Jordan and Don Jordan; and her siblings-in-law, Tyson Melton, Joe Workman and Carolyn Jordan.
She is survived by: her husband Wayne Smith; her daughter Tracy Carpenter (Gage); her grandchildren, Emily and Aiden; her siblings, Gene Jordan (Helen) of Edgemoor, Ernie Jordan (Carolyn) of Lancaster, Elizabeth "Lucy" Melton of Richburg and Allene Workman of Rock Hill; and her sister-in-law Peggy Jordan of Fort Lawn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Smith's name to Fort Lawn Baptist Church, 5742 Church St, Fort Lawn, SC 29714; or the Elmwood Cemetery Fund, PO Box 54, Fort Lawn, SC 29714.
