With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Iredella Meetze Duckett (Rock Hill, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Idell Meetze and Belle Green Meetze; her husband Dewey Maceo Duckett, Sr.; her sister Lillian Marie Meetze Jones; her children, Patricia Duckett and Dewey M. Duckett, Jr. (Denise) of Cleveland, Ohio; and her nephew Kenneth E. King.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Dwayne and Iredella; her son Dwayne Meetze Duckett (Celeste) of Columbia; her grandsons, Dwayne Meetze Duckett II of Columbia, Harrison Elliott Williams Duckett of Columbia and Adam Eugene Artis Duckett of Columbia; her nephew Darryl L. Jones; her great-nephews, Brandon Goodwin of Columbia, Kelley King of Columbia and Jordan King of Columbia; her child Camille D. Alexander of Washington, DC; and her grandchildren, Dewey Ortiz Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, De Von Ortiz of Cleveland, Ohio and Daisson Colbert (Elvis) of Cleveland, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duckett Back Pack Project for Hungry Children in care of First Citizen's Bank.
