She was predeceased by: her brothers, Milas and Charles; and her parents, Margaret and Robert. She is survived by: her spouse Parker W. Carter, Sr.; her children, Parker W. Carter, Jr. (Dessy) and Crystal C. Jolley (Eric); her granddaughters, Alexius Marshall (Adam), Brianna Carter (Justin), Lorelai and Sabrina Jolley; her great grandchildren, Savannah and Magnolia-Raye Marshall; and her siblings, Frances Witherspoon (Harvel) and Rob Gainey (Lee). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church (2115 Celanese Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Hope to Aldersgate United Methodist Church, continuing her legacy of faith and community support.
