She was predeceased by: her husband Ervin Eugene Starnes (Gene); her son Robert A Starnes (Bob); her siblings, Lottie Hefner Thomas, Ruby Hough Blackwelder and Robert L Hough; her parents, Raymond A Hefner and Viola Mackey Hefner; and her stepmother Hassie Boatwright Hefner.
She is survived by: her daughter Vivian Ferrell (Ed); her grandchildren, Jamie Ferrell (Jacki Ferrell), Melissa Boatwright (Eddie) and Jason Starnes (Sara); and her sisters, Mary Hough Minton and Annie Hefner George. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
